About
Practical AI safety, shared for free
aisafetysecurity.ai teaches how AI works, how it fails, and how to protect people and their data. It started with education, where its coverage is deepest, and now spans personal information, nonprofits, attacks on AI, governance and everyday use. It is published as it is written, so others can learn from it and point out what is wrong.
The site is supported by Lumina EdTech, which builds software for schools and the organizations that serve families. Lumina covers the cost of running it and issues the Foundations certificate of completion.
Not legal advice
Everything here is a learning resource. Laws, regulations and contracts change, and the right answer often depends on the exact state, contract and facts. Talk to qualified counsel before relying on anything here for a real decision.
Certificates of completion
The Foundations certificate shows that someone completed the course and passed its quizzes. It is issued by Lumina EdTech, it is not accredited, and it is not a professional license or a substitute for the certifications listed on the Certifications page. Progress is stored only in your browser for now, so certificates are not independently verifiable yet.
No endorsements
Linking to a law, framework, organization or certification does not mean that organization endorses this site, and it does not mean we endorse every product or service they offer.
No tracking of learners
There are no accounts. Quiz progress and the name on your certificate stay in your own browser and are never sent to us.
